Awesome service from all that transported us around all day Friday!

We had a great time on the water taxi and the workers were all just excellent!! We would definitely do this again!! We were wble to ho see beaches and restaurants that we normally would not have been able to without driving! We didn’t want to lose our parking space at our hotel so this worked out great being able to walk to the taxi.
Hop-On-Hop-Off Boat Tour

The name's a bit misleading. The Water Taxi is really a hop-on-hop-off bus tour on boats. It's great fun and a great way to get a feel for Fort Lauderdale.
Since my last visit, the Water Taxi has added a "tracking map" to their website, as well as a page showing expected boat times in print form. The map is more helpful -- I found that the expected times page kept changing all the time, and not very logically. An example: next boat time at my stop changed from 5 minutes to 48 minutes to 11 minutes, all between 1:30 and 1:35 PM.
Another positive change is that the small "river shuttle" extension in downtown is now free, co-sponsored by the City of Fort Lauderdale.
Stops include the beautiful downtown Riverwalk, the 17th Street causeway, multiple beach locations, and several fantastic restaurants. What a great way to avoid impaired driving problems when going out for dinner!
The running commentary points out homes and yachts of the rich and famous. Each of the commentators has his or her own personal style, and some are funnier than others. The crews are all thorough, though, when it comes to announcing each stop.

Highly recommend this service to see the Ft. Lauderdale ICW. The service was recommended to me by Greg F and the experience was a perfect way for my family and I to see the high end homes in the area. The taxi staff, Zoey and Janet, were knowledgeable and gave nice descriptions of the homes. We went on the coldest day of the year but the experience was still enjoyable.
A Fabulous Way to Spend Your Day

What a fabulous and fun way to see the city! With an all day pass, you can hop on and off at any of the ten stops. We made a whole day of it. The tour guides do a fun explanation of the area, including the mega mansions and yachts. By night, the lights are beautiful as what was seen by day disappears into the magic of the evening. This is great value - don't miss it!

Really enjoyed the narrative as we traveled to Hollywood starting at stop 2 in the Las Olas area. Taxi employees were wonderful!

Nothing in particular. Interesting to hear about the history and homes. Would actually be even better with less chatter and more about the city.
Enjoyable but uncomfortable boat ride

Enjoyed the ride however, For a 3 hour boat trip, it was uncomfortable to be sitting on metal seats. I’d recommend placing cushions. Also, bathroom needs to be upgraded and cleaner. Sorry
