Enjoy a guided scenic driving tour of the real Everglades. Pass over several bridges with vast vistas of the River of Grass. Shark Valley
We will head out on an exciting nature walk led by a master naturalist in the actual national park. We never go to places with wildlife in cages and pens. We see large alligators, baby alligators, a wide variety of bird species and other wildlife up close, and where they should be experienced, in the wild! Learn about the different ecosystems of this Unesco World Heritage site, and understand the role of water in its conservation. Explore a bit on your own as well, including stopping in at the Visitors Center.

Miccosukee Indian Village
Go on an incredible air boat ride for 1-hour or more on a smaller air boat that allows you to go way out there in the "River of Grass." Go far from land and stop at two native tree island villages where the Native people used to live. Explore, and experience the remote beauty of their culture. See large alligators, small alligators, and a wide variety of bird species, like the endangered Everglades snail kite, tri-colored herons, anhingas, and much more.

Fantastic half day adventure

We absolutely loved our time on this tour. Zach, our guide, was so knowledgeable and funny. He clearly knew the Everglades very well and answered all our questions. Both the walk and boat ride exceeded our expectations. We saw several gators, turtles and species of bird and fish. If we come back to south Florida we’ll definitely do the full day tour. I only wished we had time to visit the gift shop but totally understand there isn’t always time for it in the guided tours.

We spent the day with Stacy and she was incredible. Knowledgeable, sincere, and fun! We also got to meet Elvis driving the air boat, and was a trip. His ability to spot wildlife(gators) was next level stuff. Hotel pick up easy and on time. Highly recommend this trip!

This tour is Cadillac of all Everglades tours I researched and heard about and experienced first hand.
Booking, communication, pickup, the Limos, tour guide, content of the tour, exclusive interactions, indigenous people habitat / island, snack, drinks and can you believe even big sprays, ponchos.. wow the tour operators did meticulous planning and execution with surgical precision.
Totally worth it.
Best part is that they employ professionals as tour guides - our tour guide Lindsay was apparently a highly qualified naturalist. She was a walking encyclopedia!

There are a lot of options when visiting Florida, Everglades National Park, & its surrounding natural wonders. This visit, Wild Lime Adventures delivered the best experience ever! We booked their Part Day tour, that featured an air boat ride and nature walk. Both of these greatly exceeded expectations, due mostly to their amazing naturalists, (Lindsay & Zac). Passionate, PHD expertise, & real-world backgrounds. They are both deserving of the highest praise.
Air Boat Ride w/ Lindsay: This occurred on the Miccosukee Reservation, a more lush and vibrant eco-system than the other air boats I have taken before. We stopped at the island with re-created native structures, and a loop walk. Very informative as to native life. Our boat driver found some gators, a small caiman, and magnificent birds in flight. These air boats seat you up higher than most, allowing for better photos. They also have serious horse-power. (Hearing protection provided). The rainy morning gave way to gorgeous blue sky during this tour. The part day tour group then transferred to another naturalist for the walk. Now just three in our group, Kudos to Wild Lime for allowing this, as other outfits could have cancelled for not meeting some unspecified minimum. You obviously care about those who choose your company, thank you!
Guided Walk in The Everglades w/ Zac: This occurred on the “Shark Valley” section of the park. We walked the Bobcat Boardwalk, with Zac explaining various flora and fauna. He pointed out things you would easily miss. Going into great detail, having us smell leaves, then giving us a wealth of information as to how the native people utilized what nature provided. On the main road, he described all of the birds, his specialty. Spotting a gator, we took more photos as the Tram whisked by with its pre-recorded spiel, unaware. This is why you need a guide, and we had the best! It wasn’t too long a walk for us old folks, then we headed back to the visitor center before the long ride home.
They give you a souvenir water bottle to fill with chilled water, and lots to snack on. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Fort Lauderdale. This allowed us plenty of time to have lively conversations with both Lindsay, then Zac. We really enjoyed getting to know more about them. They really love doing this, props to Wild Lime for hiring the “cream of the crop.”
Wild Lime Adventures has one of the best websites. Lots of info, easy to navigate, colorful, with lots of stunning photography to inspire. They offer plenty of different tours, something for everyone. You can spend less, then regret it all the way home. Wild Lime Adventures is so worth the difference. I can’t wait to visit Florida again so I can book another tour with them. Hands down, the Best!

Well organised tour. Picked us up for a nearby hotel. Our guide was informative and the experience was relaxed. We saw alligators and turtles as well as birds. The airboat was very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful 1/2 day tour with our guide, Zach! He gave us a very in depth tour of the flora and fauna of the Everglades. We saw many birds and alligators up close. Zach was quick to identify them and knew much about each bird and their habitat. He was as excited about each find as we were and kept us interested with his explanations. We loved the airboat ride as well . I highly recommend this tour of the Everglades!

Wonderful and thrilling experience on an Everglades fan boat, which was preceded by a 1.5 hour guided walking tour of the Everglades ecosystem. Stacie our knowledgeable and friendly guide pointed out the various flora and fauna - including many edible and non edible plants and various species of birds, alligators, and snakes!

Outstanding tour of the Everglades

This tour is fabulous! We were picked up at our hotel and driven in a comfortable van to Everglades National Park. Along the way, our guide (Ryan) made the ride fun and informative by enthusiastically regaling us with stories about the geological history of the area, construction of the main roads (including the Tamiami Trail), and pointing out invasive species of trees from Australia and interesting water fowl.
His flowing narrative continued during an easy hike through part of the park, where he pointed out the flora (including poisonous plants) and fauna (interesting water fowl, alligators, and explained the current problems with invasive pythons) and described the history of the native tribes and colonial powers.
From there we took an air boat tour on the Miccosukee Reservation for about an hour, savoring the beauty of the area before heading back to town.
Aside from the spectacular scenery, what made this tour special was the relaxed but extremely interesting way Ryan wove together history, geology and nature. Do not miss this experience!

This is misleading. You see one alligator and it’s one that’s been trained to come around. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but the boat ride is very misleading
