I booked this tour as I was assured by Ben that my wife's special travel needs (she walks with a cane and uses an Inogen portable oxygen device) could be met, and to add to our bucket list of visiting as many National Parks as we could. The tour was on December 11, 2022, following a Panama Canal cruise. Our tour guide was Zac, who is 10-star. He's a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of the area flora, fauna and history, related with enthusiasm and made interesting. Importantly, he graciously accommodated my wife's special travel needs, and she was able to participate in all aspects of the tour comfortably, without inconveniencing the others in the tour group. Zac even made an unscheduled stop a very short distance off the highway on the way back, at our request, to for a photo op with the Everglades NP entrance sign, to add to our list of similar ones, which all of the others in the group did as well. On the 10,000 Islands boat trip, Captain Aaron, at our request (to fill another bucket list item), successfully located a mother dolphin and her baby, in open water. He maneuvered the boat so they could willingly follow us in its wake, where they entertained us for several minutes. Aaron had previously spotted a dolphin in a shallow bay, but stayed away from it because it was feeding, and out of respect for that, he didn't want to disturb it, which we totally agreed with. That was unlike another tour boat in the area, who disregarded that philosophy and drove his boat right up to the dolphin and disrupted its feeding. Lunch at the Smallwood Store was also very good. We were picked up precisely on time at our hotel in Miami Downtown Brickell and dropped off only a few minutes after the scheduled time (our fault because of the photo op request). Great tour, and kudos to Ben for the itinerary and his staff. We highly recommend Wild Lime Adventures.
